MARINA

Marina is a family of tables and coffee tables whose essence lies in the harmonious disproportion between cylindrical walnut legs and a strict marble top. The forms are inspired by the 'Marine' paintings of the Venetian artist Virgilio Guidi, in which the master can evoke a lagoon landscape with few and seemingly simple strokes, the result of a synthesis that leans towards abstraction. The Marina collection synthesizes the traditional lines of the table into a few strokes, eliminating unnecessary design, and using wood and marble to achieve skillful and evocative shapes.

Base made of curved MDF and veneered with Canaletto walnut pressed by mold. Marble top, 2 cm thick.
