Rhythm is not just a single light but a system of light. The idea originated from a desire to create a modular light object that can be added on to in different ways to create unique installations that are site and function specific. This was combined with the traditional Murano technique of blowing glass into a metal cage for making lanterns. Playing with the technique I M Lab have developed a form that can be replicated and combined in such a way as to create unique configurations.
Like notes breaking through the silence and creating rhythm, glass flows through metal structures, turning into lanterns. Rhythm, designed by I M Lab, is the quintessence of the art of Murano glassblowing. Rhythm is exclusively available as a pendant light.
