MILLEPIEDI

Millepiedi was inspired by the archetypal 3 legged milking stool, a simple minimalistic object yet intriguing and useful.   The repetition emphasises, in a playful way, the beauty of the natural material and the skilful craftsman work required to assemble the various elements. The multiplication of the legs brings up spontaneously the image of the caterpillar “Millepiedi” (millipede in Italian).   The final result is a versatile bench which brings together beauty, elegance and surprise.
