Ténéré is an handmade jute rug with geometric shapes. The Policromo model is characterised by three natural tones that intertwine to create minimalistic striped and diamond patterns. Each rug has one base colour, one colour for the diagonal stripe and one to fill the decoration, ranging from vinaccia (burgundy) to corda and bianco (white) with contrasting figures.
Cassina's constant inclination to collaborate with companies that share its values of excellence, research and production expertise, has led to the collaboration with the company Golran for the Ténéré rugs, the latest addition to the Cassina Details Collection. These rugs are made entirely by hand by artisans who implement jute weaving techniques, derived from teachings passed down from generation to generation, enhancing Cassina's contemporary design. The rug, made entirely of jute, is available in two models that have two different production methods. Both are available in three colours and two sizes, for a total of twelve options, as well as a customised variant that can be adapted for individual needs, completing all areas of the home. Using natural materials and craftsmanship expertise, Ténérè celebrates the materic essence of nature in every detail: from the colours to the patterns, from the fabric to the production process.
